Before you learn how to play the guitar, you have to know how to tune it. In order to produce good sounds, your needs proper tuning. The first step is to tune the lower E string, which is at the bottom. Next is the A string (2nd from the bottom), D string (3rd from the

bottom), G string (fourth from the bottom) and B string (5th from the bottom). The last string to tune is the high E string. You can also use electronic tuners; these are available at most any music stores.

You can pay the music store to tune your for you. However, it really is a skill that you should learn on your own. Otherwise, you’ll be spending a lot of money on having your tuned. You can ask someone at a music store to teach you how to tune a guitar. They may do it for free, or they may charge a small fee. It is worthwhile to learn because you’ll also ensure that any time you’re ready to play, your will sound its best.
