WARNING: In this video, I’m going to show you why none of that matters. You will find out how you can learn to play
any song you want in a few short lessons.
So, don’t watch the video unless you’re serious about learning how to play the guitar.
While you’re practicing guitar, you are going to reach the point when you'll know at least three chords. It is at this
point in teaching yourself to play the guitar that it's essential to begin practicing the chord changes.
While teaching yourself to play your guitar you'll experience what are called chord changes. Chord changes are
switching from a single guitar chord to the next guitar chord in a very even and rapid motion. The single most
challenging things that hinders a new beginner guitarist while learning to accomplish chord changes will be accurately
and quickly switching from chord to chord.
Let us take a look at three simple steps that will help you to accomplish extremely fast chord changes.
1. Commit to memory your guitar chords
2. Learn the ergonomics of guitar chords
1. Commit to memory the guitar chords: So that you can start changing from chord to chord extremely fast, you need
to memorize as many guitar chords, which you have mastered as you can. The more you have your guitar chords
memorized, the simpler it'll be to play the guitar chords individually. This in turn will allow you to transition to the
following chord more quickly as a result of not needing to determine your chord fingering.
2. Educate yourself on the ergonomics associated with guitar chords: The following might sound more difficult than it
truly is. Chord ergonomic playing is merely locating the best fingering for that chord you are playing that will allow you
to move to the following chord as fast and smoothly as you possibly can. For example, there's two ways to play the A
major basic chord. You may use the first three fingers (1, 2, and 3) which is what the majority of beginner guitar
players learn how to do, or else you can learn to play A major with the last 3 fingers (2, 3, and 4) and discover that by
using this fingering position enables for smoother and quicker chord changes.
3. Module chord practice: Learning to get the chord switching playing abilities to the following level will require
practice. Take a couple of chords and rehearse changing between both chords back and forth for 2 minutes. Get two
brand-new chords and perform switching these chords back and forth over and over again for another two minutes.
Inside a 10-minute module unit you can practice switching guitar chords using ten different chords.
Once again, it is essential that you learn your chord changes. Until you do so, you will not be able to move on to the
next level of guitar playing. Follow the advice in this article and you will do just fine.
