The Best Way To Learn Guitar Cords
If you're new to learning the guitar, it can be overwhelming at first. It can be especially frustrating in the beginning when you don't know anything and can't get the sounds from the that you want. Well, there is a silver lining to all of this. The good news is that the vast majority of every song ever created use basic cords, and once you get over the initial hump of learning the basic cords, you'll be in much better shape, so here is the best way to learn cords. An easy way to learn cords is to start with an easy cord. One of the easiest cords to make is the A cord on the guitar. On the neck/fret board, it is three notes pressed
down in a line on 3 different strings. Starting on the low E going left to right it looks like -02220, with 0 being no fret is pushed done and 2 meaning the second fret is depressed and - meaning the note is missed altogether. You can use your index, middle, and ring fingers, or you can just use one finger to push down all three, but that is a more advanced technique which is referred to somewhat as "barring" a cord. Next, let's learn cords E and D. The E cord is made with 022100, and the D cord is made with -0212. Playing those three cords in different successions makes up any number of popular songs from the past 60 years, you'd be surprised.
