Beginner Guitar Songs - Play Your Very First Song Today With A Very Simple Method
Beginner songs are actually easier to be played than you would think. Most of the times people around you may say you would need a lot of time before starting to play songs when you learn the guitar. However, this should not be the case. You can start to play songs as soon as you learn to play certain basic chords, and finger exercises, scales and drills have actually nothing to do with how songs are played. I am a stubborn advocate of playing songs as you learn to play the since having fun while learning anything can only help and boost your learning speed. Of course you have to practice all those other skills if you want to become an established player, but why shouldn't you make some music and have fun while learning? Especially if you can sing along while playing,
it is actually easy to play beginner level songs with some simple tricks, and no need to mention how impressive it is since people will know that you're just starting to learn. One of the first songs I learned to play on the (and sing) was the House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. The song is based on very simple chords, and if you use one small trick that I used (as I said, this is actually very effective if you or someone you can perform with can sing) you can actually perform the song with one or two hours of practice. The song is played with five chords in total: Am, C, D, Fmaj7 (which is very similar to C except for one finger) and E. And the trick you can use is to skip the arpeggios that could be challenging for beginners, and to play the chords by simply strumming.
